Our Mission and Purpose

Donner Party Racing is a race team founded and based out of Truckee California that is dedicated to racing Dirt Oval Track all over the United States. This season, DPR will complete their first full season in the Western States Dwarf Car Association.

Donner Party Racing is also dedicated to showing other individuals what it takes to make it into the motorsport industry, and helping provide basic resources that others can use to get started.

The High Fives Foundation, founded by Roy Tuscany is a nonprofit dedicated to helping individual injured athletes get back to doing their passion through a variety of different lenses of focus. The High Fives Foundation’s mission is to help prevent life changing injuries, and provide resources if they happen. The Truckee Roundhouse is a community makers space dedicated to providing the Truckee Tahoe community with the resources to create. The Truckee Roundhouse covers anything from ceramics, to woodwork, fabrics, robotics, and even metal fabrication. Nonprofit Organization
The Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe is a nonprofit organization dedicating to finding forever homes for animals rather then just getting them out of the shelter. The Humane Society also focuses on preventing more animals from coming to the shelter by offering discounted spay and neutering services for animals that enter the shelter or individuals looking to get those services done for their pets. The people you know determine everything, including the opportunities you have to move up. So learning to make those connections is vital.

Most sponsors when they decide to support you are going to look sta your social media presence, and how much of an impact your profession has on others. In today’s world, all fo your marketing happens online, and usually is not successful without good presence.
The best thing to do to start is put yourself out there and start getting that experience. Whether this means starting in karting, skiing, or whatever profession you decide to go into. You won’t get anywhere if you don’t take that first step.
